With all the buzz surrounding Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight, it is easy to forget that wasn’t his last film. That said, those of us who were faithful fans of this talented actor are well aware that he was filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when he tragically lost his life. Thus, we have been waiting with baited breathe to learn the fate of his final film.
Unfortunately, the fate of the Oscar winners last film is still unknown, as it does not yet have a distribution deal. However, Terry Gilliam, the film’s creator has confidence that he will land a deal. The film is still being edited, and Gilliam believes that once people see the final cut he will have his pick of offers. Gilliam estimates the final cut will be ready in April.
