Is Paula Abdul Leaving American Idol?

American Idol Judge and former pop star Paula Abdul’s contract is up this year. This of course has rumors swirling that Abdul will be replaced by the new female judge Kara DioGuardi. Paula Abdul addressed these rumors and more in a recent interview with ABC. The one of kind star says she is irreplaceable, but doesn’t go as far as saying that she will be on the next season of Idol. Paula also denies that she has ever been drunk or drugged on American Idol. In fact, the Idol judge claims she has never even been drunk in her life. So, that is the official word on the Paula situation for now. It doesn’t actually clear anything up, I guess we will have to wait and see.
